The Center Equality Offices is responsible (according to the LHG) for equal opportunities for women and men in science and studies. Professor Dr. Christiane Schwieren is supported in her many different tasks in her role by UNIFY.

Each faculty has its own equal opportunities commissioners who serve as direct points of contact for female students and academics. They represent the Equal Opportunities Commissioner of the University in faculty councils and commissions, especially in appointment procedures.
